Responsible for all new development and support of global enterprise applications, including SAP, live website, two custom web applications and several niche packages. Worked closely with CIO to restructure IT department and create this position to manage the transition from an 8-year strategic “technology overhaul” program into a “sustainable growth” model guided by ITIL standards.
Significant Achievements / Projects
• Focused IT efforts to support corporate goal of targeting only top-valued clients and artwork to achieve improved client loyalty and profitability. This helped produce record-setting figures in 2007, with total sales up 51% to $6.2 billion and quantity of consigned pieces down 42%.
• Introduced formal process to ensure all enhancement requests have a clear business benefit. Business teams now outline benefits with requests and senior management reviews/approves.
• Accelerated enhancement turn-around times by introducing a highly efficient release cycle. Over 50 enhancements are now implemented every quarter.

• Designed process to associate 3rd party service charges (e.g. restoration, shipping) to clients, increasing revenue by $1mm/year by ensuring accurate invoicing upon auction settlement.
